Established in 1971 The Association of Conferences and Events (ACE) is proud to be one of the longest serving event industry trade associations in the UK.     We have come a long way and our journey continues.    Supporting our members, working with existing and new partners  and developing the association further remains our key focus in 2017.


THE BOARD


Keith Brown – Chair

Director and Owner of Ingenium Development, is an experienced L&D practitioner with generalist HR skills gained in both the public and private sectors working in a range of organisations, including the travel and event sector both in the UK and internationally.

Kripen Dhrona – Board Member

Kripen is the Marketing Communications Officer at The British Polio Fellowship, ACE’s charity partner and will officially join the Board of ACE at the AGM in April. He is a marketing professional with over 15 years’ experience of hospitality, events and exhibition markets. Working at the Enterprise Hotel as a Sales & Marketing Manager for many years, saw Kripen lead the hotel through significant change in the industry and for shifting customer expectations. Kripen is hoping to harness this knowledge, and his current position with The British Polio Fellowship to bring a unique insight to the ACE board.

Michelle Ramsey – Board Director

Michelle is owner and Director of Ventura which specialises in HR, Recruitment & Training for the travel, event and hospitality sectors and Le Rêve Event Management.    Michelle has extensive experience from the UK and international event sector including major sporting events, incentives and weddings.  Her company also provides the day to day operational management of ACE.

ACE are always looking to develop its Board further and welcome applications for new members who have extensive industry experience or can add value through general business, marketing or finance knowledge.   The Board meets six times year, usually in central London and members are asked to attend networking and events where possible.   Applicants must have current and relevant category membership at the time of application.   Board positions are unremunerated.
